I think photography is one of the best ways to create art. Camera bodies, lenses, and light for photographers are akin to paintbrushes, paint, and canvasses for painters.

Below I enumerate the gear I use and why I use it:
Camera & Lenses
Nikon D610 — The first and only camera body I bought. It is extremely durable and a great entry-level full frame DSLR. It continuously surprises me with its excellent image quality. Highly recommend this camera for anyone looking to upgrade from crop sensor to full frame.
Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED Vibration Reduction — What else can I say but “wow!” This is a stunning lens that finds its home on my camera 90% of the time. It renders color and skin tones very well and serves a myriad of uses. From hiking in the mountains of Yosemite to shooting food inside dimly lit spaces, this lens does it all! The vibration reduction is extremely useful in low light situations. The only two drawbacks are that it is heavy/bulky, and expensive, but it is more than worth the price for such a beautifully made lens, can’t recommend it enough!
Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F — Excellent for astrophotography and unique portraiture. Also a go to for landscape photography when I want to carry a smaller, lighter lens.
Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G — The first lens I ever bought. I don’t use it as often these days but I still believe it to be a great portrait option. It’s extremely affordable as well!
Accessories
3 Legged Thing Punks Travis Magnesium Alloy Tripod — A recent purchase that I love! Super sturdy, lightweight, and ergonomic. Highly recommend for any landscape photographer.
K&F Concept 82mm Fader ND Filter — Very useful for long exposure images. I never go to a scenic spot without it.
